James Carmichael joined LJ Hooker Cleveland in 2013, he helps combine family values and professionalism across LJ Hooker Cleveland offering a unique real estate experience in the Bayside.
As the Sales Manager of LJ Hooker Cleveland, James is responsible for a team of 30 highly experienced sales agents which have unparalleled knowledge and connections in their marketplace. James also enjoys working with the sales team, not as selling management but in a supporting role, training capacity where needed and to also keep in tune with the marketplace.
He also manages a 10-person administration department whose efforts free-up the daily activities of market-facing sales agents so they can focus on quality engagement with buyers and better communicate with sellers.
James effectively ensures each sales agent has maximum support so they can do their job to the best of their ability. Working with industry coaches and consultants he also aims to assist each agent in reaching their career goals and aims. He also implements the office marketing and lead generation strategies which involve print media, community engagement, database marketing, prospecting support and assistance, social media marketing and CRM training.
James greatly appreciates the similar values of the community LJ Hooker Cleveland services. He loves the region and makes a point of supporting the region which so readily supports LJ Hooker Cleveland, through assisting the fundraising efforts of local schools, TAFEs, sporting clubs, and charities.
Prior to real estate, James’ background in property started in a research capacity. Graduating from QUT with a Bachelor of Urban Development (Property Economics), he consulted to developers at the front end of project planning, providing various market metrics including demographics and market trends to determine whether concepts could proceed.
